This turn-of-the-century Scandinavian wall light features an elaborate patinated metal element modeled with a female figure, flanked by large symmetrical vegetal scrolls. Behind her, the large circular frosted glass shade diffuses the light and creates a sharp contrast with the sculptural nature and green patina of the metal. The figurative repertoire and sinuosity of the decoration recall the Art Nouveau style still present in Nordic decorative arts at the turn of the century.
