Outfitted with a hat and open jacket, the figure and its matching pedestal are enveloped in a web of delicate, abstract white paint splatters. This fine, action-painted texture overlays the dark base, creating a visual rhythm akin to marble veins or electric discharge.

Stylistically, the piece bridges contemporary Pop Art with the expressive energy of action painting and street art. De Santis moves beyond playful simplicity, using the dramatic contrast between dark pink hues and chaotic white drip patterns to give the nostalgic toy form a mysterious, sophisticated edge. The result is a compelling dialogue between structured childhood iconography and raw, painterly spontaneity. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
