This was made in England by Salamon Hille, … Read more An absolutely stunning and very rare antique lacquered chinoiserie wardrobe by Hille. This was made in England by Salamon Hille, it was made for and retailed by the famous London department store Harrods, it dates from around the 1900-1920’s period.

It is of exceptional quality and is a really useful size, it is not too imposing yet offers lots of storage space. The lacquered chinoiserie decorations are incredibly beautiful, this has wonderful all round patina.

The right hand section contains removable shelving and internal drawers, the left hand section is double width, with a horizontal hanging rail and coat hooks.

This is in excellent all round condition for its age, with only a some minor marks and extremely minor surface wear to be seen here and there.

This breaks down into four pieces for ease of transport, the top and base come away from the single right hand section and double left hand section.
