Charming French wall-mounted coat rack attributed to Roger Féraud, dating from the 1950s.
Made of black lacquered tubular metal, the piece incorporates a mirror and four hooks topped with colorful wooden balls in yellow, blue, red and green, characteristic of French mid-century design.
The wooden balls retain an old painted finish with an attractive patina, showing age-related wear and small areas of paint loss that add character and authenticity to the piece.
A functional yet highly decorative example of 1950s French design, ideal for an entrance hall, bedroom or dressing area. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
