A Louis-Philippe commode from the late 19th century, crafted from solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. Its Sainte-Anne marble top, with delicately rounded front corners, adds a touch of refinement.
This piece features five ingeniously arranged drawers. The frieze conceals a front drawer, while three large central drawers, framed by moldings, structure the front with understated elegance. Their mahogany veneer, with its pronounced grain, highlights the quality of the wood. Each drawer is equipped with functional locks and keys. A final drawer, cleverly integrated into the plinth, completes the storage options.
The overall impression is one of balance and simplicity, enhanced by the deep, warm tones of the mahogany.
