Constructed from solid wood and select veneers, the structure combines medium-toned oak surfaces with inlays of fine woods and dark ebonized fillets. The rectangular upper platform features a central panel with a pronounced linear grain, framed by four mitered oak sections and finished with a dark molded perimeter border.

The central shaft is subtly widened towards the middle, tapering towards the top and bottom to create a defined geometric profile. Two horizontal ebonized bands divide the support into balanced sections, corresponding to the dark fillets that run along the vertical edges. Beneath the shaft, a stepped base with a geometric marquetry frieze rests the piece stably on four short rectangular legs at the corners.

Due to its understated proportions and architectural presence, the piece blends seamlessly into an entryway, a living room corner, a private library, or a gallery space. It is designed as a support for displaying sculptures, bronze figures, busts, or collectible ceramic pieces. See less
