This spark guard represents the handcrafted style of the 1970s, made of wrought iron with a black finish and a metal mesh backing to retain sparks. The front frame incorporates an openwork spiderweb structure, crowned by a striking relief spider sculpture at the top.
The base features arched feet topped with solid spheres, providing stable support in front of the fireplace opening. The top includes a carrying handle defined by curved scrolls, making it easy to move.
In addition to its protective function, its sculptural design makes it ideal as a focal point for seasonal Halloween or autumn decorations, easily blending into rooms with Gothic, rustic, or eclectic styles.
