the pakhus was designed in 1984, making these 1987 examples among the earliest production lamps from the first years of the design's manufacture.

with their restrained architectural form, white lacquered steel shades and distinctive three-rod suspension, the pakhus is a particularly understated example of danish lighting design from the 1980s.

the pair is in excellent vintage condition and in full working order.

the white lacquered steel shades show only minor signs of age and use consistent with their vintage status. Both lamps retain their original ceramic e27 bulb sockets and original 200 cm fabric electrical cords.
