Executed on canvas, the artwork highlights a magnificent mountain peak defined by thick, heavily textured palette-knife impasto paintwork. Nestled at the mountain's base is a cozy cabin reflecting onto a calm lake, beautifully framed in the foreground by stylized birch trees and soft, pastel pink evergreens.
The color palette is an authentic reflection of late 1970s design, utilizing muted creams, soft pinks, dusty rose tones, and deep earth colors.
The painting is beautifully housed in its substantial, original multi-tiered vintage wood frame, complete with a classic cream linen/velvet inset border. This statement piece is absolutely perfect for an interior designer looking to anchor a mantle, couch backdrop, or bedroom wall with authentic mid-century character. See less
