This beautifully sculpted piece features a creamy ivory-white glaze, gently defined pumpkin ribs, a dimensional naturalistic stem, and hand-painted green leaves around the base. The removable pumpkin-form lid reveals a generously sized glazed bowl approximately 3.5" deep. At 6" wide and 6" tall, it is a wonderful size for serving nuts, candies or other small treats, while also making a beautiful decorative accent for an autumn or Thanksgiving table. In excellent vintage condition, with no significant chips, cracks or damage noted. Marked on the underside “Hand Made for VIETRI – Italy.” A lovely and distinctive piece of vintage Italian pottery for the VIETRI collector, and equally appealing for French Country, traditional or collected interiors.
