This charming pair of vintage sancai glazed parrot figures brings a touch of history to any interior. Each bird is finely modeled standing upon a rocky base, featuring a rich green glaze with amber and cream highlights along the wings, legs, and base. The parrots have expressive faces with small beaks and are detailed with incised feather patterns across their bodies. The glaze exhibits a natural crackle and patina, giving them a distinguished, antique character. In many cultures, parrots are symbols of fidelity, longevity, and good fortune. These figures make a delightful addition to a collection of ceramic birds or Asian decorative arts.
