Beautiful circa 1920s antique mahogany dining table, featuring a classic English Regency / Duncan Phyfe-inspired design.
The large 88" x 45" top features beautiful figured mahogany, rounded ends and an elegant contrasting banded border. The table is supported by two substantial pedestal bases, each with four gracefully curved and reeded legs terminating in brass caps and casters.
The mahogany has developed a wonderful warm color and patina over approximately 100 years. The table shows some scratches and surface wear consistent with its age, which can be seen in the photographs.
A handsome and substantial antique table with beautiful proportions—ideal as a formal dining table, large conference table, or statement piece in a traditional or eclectic interior.
