Charming vintage Italian wall-mounted cabinet combining decorative sporting art with practical key storage.
Crafted in warm-toned wood, the cabinet features a framed Bimaculated Duck illustration behind glass. The hinged picture-front door opens to reveal a wood interior fitted with 10 simple metal key hooks arranged across two horizontal rails. The reverse side of the door is finished with a traditional green patterned lining.
Architectural detailing along the frame and pediment-style top gives the piece the appearance of framed artwork when closed, while the concealed storage makes it especially appealing for an entryway, mudroom, study, or country-inspired interior.
The original label on the reverse identifies the piece as Made in Italy.
A wonderfully unusual decorative and functional piece with English Country, Traditional, Rustic European, and sporting-inspired character.
