A beautiful Queen Anne style tea table crafted in solid mahogany by Kittinger, featured as part of the official Colonial Williamsburg collection. Based on a 18th-century original, the table features a tray-style molded edge dished top, a deeply scalloped apron, and two retractable candle slides pulled via brass tabs. It is supported by slender cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The mahogany finish retains a rich, reddish luster and the underside retains both the paper Kittinger Buffalo tag and the authentic burned-in Colonial Williamsburg mark. Burn-in mark is the larger, earlier mark.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Shows light, age-appropriate finish wear and minor surface scuffs on the top surface. Candle slides function smoothly. Structural joinery remains solid.
