Vintage round pedestal table by Jimeco Ltda. of Bogotá, Colombia. The table features a muted green inset surface believed to be goatskin or parchment, surrounded by a high-gloss figured wood rim and supported by a sculptural intersecting-panel pedestal base.
The original “Made in Colombia by Jimeco Ltda.” label remains affixed to the underside. The sculptural form and luxurious leather/parvhment surface are characteristic of Jimeco’s Colombian furniture production. Exact date and specific skin treatment are unknown; the piece likely dates to the late 20th century, believed to be 1980s to be exact.
The table is generously scaled for use as a small dining table, game table, breakfast table, or center table.
