Each bowl incorporates a chopstick-rest design, with a small circular opening and coordinating notch at the rim that allows chopsticks to rest securely.

The hand-painted design wraps around both the exterior and interior rim, with slender blue branches supporting small teardrop-shaped leaves in alternating earthy colors. Measuring 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches high, they are a versatile size for rice, noodles, ramen, pho, soups, curries, poke, side dishes, and individual portions.
