A particularly charming functional detail is the small opening and notch incorporated into the rim of each bowl, designed to help accommodate or rest chopsticks.

The interiors are decorated with delicate, free-flowing dragonfly motifs in dark blue-black, giving the bowls an organic, almost ink-drawn quality. The rich green exterior features a raised, embossed scrolling floral pattern. Their versatile 5-inch size makes them ideal for rice, noodles, smaller portions of ramen or pho, soups, curries, side dishes, poke, and Asian-inspired meals.
