Each bowl is decorated with a repeating indigo-blue rhythmic chevron pattern. The foliage radiates toward the center of the bowl, where a tightly rendered concentric blue medallion creates a strong focal point. A fine dark metallic-toned rim provides a crisp finishing detail and subtly frames the pattern.

Each bowl bears a blue maker's mark on the underside along with “Made in Japan.” The combination of classic Japanese blue-and-white porcelain, dense botanical decoration, and contemporary proportions makes the set easy to mix with both traditional and modern tableware.

The generous 6-inch diameter and 2.75-inch depth make these especially versatile serving bowls. Their size works beautifully for ramen, noodle dishes, soups, rice bowls, grain bowls, cereal, salads, fruit, curries, or individual composed dishes.
