Acquired directly from the artist, this one-of-a-kind work features an expressive, richly layered composition in saturated shades of cobalt and navy blue, violet, plum, magenta and pink, punctuated by vivid orange and golden tones.

Parrish’s energetic, gestural brushwork creates substantial visual movement and texture across the canvas, with areas of visible impasto adding depth and dimension. The dramatic juxtaposition of cool jewel tones with the fiery orange and red lower portion gives the painting exceptional presence from across a room while revealing nuanced color and texture when viewed up close.

The work is signed by the artist at lower left and is additionally marked on the reverse, “2020 Untitled #1.” The painting was purchased directly from Julius Parrish, providing direct provenance from the artist to the current owner.

Presented in a slim, warm gold-toned wood frame that complements the saturated palette without competing with the artwork. At approximately 48 x 36 inches, this substantial original makes an impressive statement in a living room, dining room, entry, office or other large-scale interior. See less
