In 1924 Pitt Müllert attended the Werkkunstschulen in Cologne and moved from form design and interior architecture to sculpture. He completed his training in Hamburg and Amsterdam and returned to Bonn in 1931. In 1933, the profession was banned. After that he produced lamps.
With the "Pitt lamps" he won international recognition at the Paris World Fair in 1936. The company was closed in 1955. The lamp has a socket E27 with pull switch.
The shade can be tilted via a joint.

The lampshade is covered with linen.
The lamp arm and stand are brass, the handle is wound from peddigree.

The stand has a diameter of 12 cm, the lampshade of
