A large central medallion and broad border are defined by oversized floral motifs, creating a graceful and understated composition.

Design & Color Story
The rug is centered around a large medallion in muted blue-gray and ivory, echoed by a broad surrounding border in the same softly faded tones. Generously scaled floral motifs appear throughout both the medallion and border, giving the design a sense of rhythm and quiet grandeur.

The ivory ground and extensively faded colors give the rug an especially soft, timeworn appearance. The antique wash has softened the contrast between the motifs and background, allowing the design to read almost like a faded painting. Its restrained palette makes it particularly versatile for interiors where an aged, collected quality is desired without introducing strong color.

Craftsmanship
Hand-knotted in wool in Sivas, Turkey, this antique rug reflects the distinctive floral and medallion compositions associated with Sivas weaving. Its generous scale of pattern and softened palette give it an elegant, relaxed character.
