Design & Color Story
A large geometric medallion anchors the composition, its intricate pattern balanced by a sense of simplicity and restraint. Surrounding stylized motifs have the refined, graphic character associated with early 20th-century design, giving the rug an especially timeless quality.

The antique wash has gently muted the original palette, bringing forward delicate shades of ivory, dusty pink-beige, and pale blue. The result is a quietly sophisticated rug with plenty of visual detail without feeling busy—a beautiful foundation for interiors where texture, age, and subtle color take center stage.

Craftsmanship
Hand-knotted in wool, this antique rug has the individual character and variations that make vintage and antique textiles so compelling. Its design is distinctly Malayer style, although the precise regional origin of the rug is uncertain.
