Charming vintage Mid-Century hurricane lamp featuring white milk glass decorated with scattered gold atomic starburst motifs and brass-tone metal fittings.
The lamp features an unusual two-light design, with illumination in both the rounded lower milk-glass body and the large tulip-shaped upper shade. The two illuminated sections create a beautiful warm glow and make the gold starburst decoration especially striking when lit.
The upper milk-glass shade has a softly scalloped rim and is held within a decorative pierced brass-tone gallery. A coordinating rounded milk-glass lower body rests on a broad brass-tone metal base.
A wonderful example of Atomic-era decorative lighting, combining the traditional hurricane-lamp form with playful Mid-Century starburst ornamentation.
Maker is unknown; no manufacturer’s mark has been identified. Both lights have been tested and are in working condition.

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Both milk-glass elements present beautifully, with no major chips or cracks noted. The brass-tone metal base shows notable areas of finish loss, pitting, oxidation and wear to the plated surface, as shown clearly in the photographs. Additional minor surface wear is present consistent with age and use. Both upper and lower lights are working. Please review all photographs closely as part of the condition description.
