Original figurative acrylic painting on canvas by North Carolina artist Laura Davis. Part of her "Ode to Milton Avery" series, this piece is a flat-color rendition inspired by Avery's portrait "Tirca". The composition features a seated female figure with short black hair wearing a chartreuse beret, orange shirt, and chartreuse skirt, resting on a light green sofa inside a pink interior.
The piece is signed and titled by the artist on the reverse side. The 24" x 16" canvas is mounted to a 0.5-inch wood stretcher and remains unframed with clean edges, ready to hang.
