Original figurative acrylic painting on canvas by North Carolina artist Laura Davis (b. 1954). Part of her "Ode to Milton Avery" series, this piece is a flat-color rendition inspired by Avery’s classic "Artist's Wife" composition. It depicts a seated female figure wearing a purple cap, yellow shirt, magenta cardigan, and red skirt against a green backdrop.
The piece is signed and titled by the artist on the reverse side. The canvas is mounted to a 0.5-inch wood stretcher and remains unframed with clean edges, ready to hang.
