The figure is rendered with a quiet, contemplative presence, featuring an elongated torso, sensitively modeled face, swept-back hair, and a softly draped blue skirt.

The sculpture has a distinctly hand-worked, studio-made quality, with visible tool marks and textured surfaces throughout the figure, clothing, and base. Warm terracotta and flesh tones contrast beautifully with the distressed blue finish of the skirt, giving the piece an earthy, painterly character.

The modeling is intentionally expressive rather than academic, with particular attention given to the figure’s posture, hands, facial expression, and hair. The result is a sculptural work with strong Modern Figurative / Studio Art appeal.

The artist’s signature, “O’Hare,” is incised into the base.

An unusual and soulful decorative sculpture that would work beautifully in a collected interior, artist’s studio, library, console display, or gallery-style setting. See less
