The sculptural lamp body is decorated with layered imagery of pagodas, rocky mountains, pine trees, flowering branches, robed figures and garden scenes, all rendered in a warm ivory-toned finish with darker recessed detailing that emphasizes the depth of the carving. Dense floral decoration wraps the elongated neck and lower section, while stylized geometric and foliate borders frame the central landscape.

The ornate body is mounted on a contrasting dark square plinth and fitted with dark metal-toned hardware, creating a sophisticated balance between the pale decorative surface and the strong architectural base.

Completing the lamp is a tall pleated fabric shade with dramatic gathered detailing, decorative trim and fringe, giving the piece an especially elegant, layered look reminiscent of richly appointed Traditional, Chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency interiors.

The scale and intricate surface detail make this an exceptional statement lamp for a formal living room, library, entry console, bedroom, or collected maximalist interior. Beautiful from every angle and particularly impressive when used where the carved landscape can be viewed at eye level. Lamp shade: 16”H x 13”D See less
