Beautiful vintage impressionist oil-on-canvas landscape featuring a waterfront estate surrounded by trees, flowers, and reflective water. Painted with expressive textured brushstrokes in soft blues, greens, and pastels.
The painting is signed lower left and presented in an elaborate Baroque-style gilt frame with linen liner. The reverse retains an original Bullock’s custom framing label from Snicker-Marin, Inc., Culver City, California, adding to its vintage provenance.
The previous owner attributed the work to British artist John Clymer (b. 1932); however, the attribution has not been independently authenticated and the painting is being offered as a signed vintage original.
Painting approximately 12” × 16”.
Overall framed size approximately 19” × 23”.
Very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear to the frame. Ready to hang.
