Company of Charlotte, North Carolina identifying Thomasville as the manufacturer and the piece as a “server.”

The design blends French Provincial and Neoclassical influences, with fluted corner pilasters, tapered architectural feet, paneled drawer fronts and delicate ring-pull hardware. Two hinged drop leaves extend from either side of the upper surface, allowing the serving area to expand when needed while keeping the piece relatively compact when closed. Metal support arms beneath the leaves swing into position to hold them when extended.

An open center shelf provides generous display and serving space, while the lower section contains two drawers, including divided interior storage well suited for flatware, linens or entertaining accessories.

The piece has been finished in a softly distressed antique cream/off-white, with subtle contrasting detail emphasizing the moldings and architectural lines. The aged finish gives it a collected appearance particularly suited to French Country, Traditional, European-inspired and cottage interiors.

Beautiful as a dining-room server, dry bar, tea or coffee station, entertaining console, or entry piece. The expandable side leaves make it especially useful for hosting. See less
