The Italian glass technique of "incalmo," increasingly hard to accomplish in this mechanized world, allows this round blown glass shade to be banded with clean, crisp lines. This is truly a marriage of function and beauty.

Each shade is mouth-blown in Venice, Italy, and no two are exactly alike. The variations are typical of a handmade product and contribute to its beauty.

Hung over a dining table or kitchen island, or in an entryway, it brings a quiet, graphic focal point to the room.
