the lamp features a distinctive sculptural silhouette with a pronounced narrow centre. Its satin-finished opal white glass shade softly diffuses the light, creating a warm glow while also producing an attractive lighting effect on the surrounding wall.

its minimalist form works particularly well in contemporary and modernist interiors and is representative of italian lighting design from the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The sax parete is especially effective when installed in pairs or larger groups, making it suitable for hallways, living spaces, restaurants and hotel interiors.

the glass bears the original aureliano toso – illuminazione dal 1938 marking. Some examples are also preserved in their original manufacturer’s packaging marked sax parete.
