The piece features a wide wooden top with a softened geometric profile, chamfered corners, and slightly beveled edges. The top rests on an architectural structure of black lacquered metal, formed by triangulated supports and a longitudinal crossbar, which lend the piece an interesting combination of visual lightness and structural solidity.

The discreet brass details introduce an elegant chromatic contrast against the dark metal and the warmth of the wood. This combination of materials reflects the characteristic sensibility of Italian furniture of the 1950s, when rationalist principles began to be integrated with more refined and domestic solutions.

The design recalls the style developed by Osvaldo Borsani in his pursuit of a balance between technical precision, formal elegance, and craftsmanship. The piece is not attributed to the designer, but rather presented in the style of his production and of high-quality Italian furniture made during this period.

It is in very good overall condition, with slight signs of use and wear consistent with its age. It has a solid and stable structure.
