A refined Italian coffee table/side table with a built-in magazine rack dating back to the 1950s and 1960s. The piece features the original manufacturer's label "MB Patent - Made in Italy" affixed under the top.
Turned brass uprights and details paired with a black lacquered metal frame. The style recalls the Neoclassical and Midcentury Italian design of the period (reminiscent of the styles of Gio Ponti and Ico Parisi).
Rectangular wooden top with a dark, exposed grain finish, enclosed by a contoured brass frame with decorative studs.
Geometric "V" grille in brass rod inserted into a black metal base.
Curved lacquered metal legs with sculptural brass ends.
Excellent condition for a period piece. It shows very light and normal signs of aging, attesting to its authenticity, with a beautiful natural patina on the brass parts. Solid and stable structure.
