A smart and very well made pair of antique Georgian style yew wood chests of drawers. They were made in England, they date from around the 1930’s.
The quality is superb and they are a very useful size with plenty of storage space. They have serpentine shaped fronts and lovely brass handles, sitting on beautifully shaped bracket feet. The yew wood grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous throughout. They would be useful in various settings around the home, even as a pair of large bedside chests.
We have had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age, with just some extremely minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
