Magnificent louis xv style bed in solid walnut, crafted in the regional french tradition of the early 20th century.
the tall, curved headboard is crowned with a remarkably fine high-relief carving: a bouquet of roses, peonies, and naturalistic foliage, a testament to the artisanal skill of the period. The lower footboard (78 cm) features a generous curve punctuated by moldings and delicate gadrooning. The four cabriole legs, a hallmark of the louis xv style, are adorned with acanthus leaves and terminate in elegant scrolls.
the wood boasts a beautiful, warm, honey-brown patina, enriched by over a century of use. A few minor cracks on the legs and joints attest to the piece's age—wear consistent with its age, which only adds to its authenticity.
compatible with a 140 x 190 cm mattress. Overall dimensions: 200 x 150 cm, height 140 cm.
a statement piece, ready to bring the charm of a classic french bedroom to your home.
