Scandinavian magazine rack from the 1960s, featuring a lightweight bamboo and rattan frame and a wide, curved handle that defines its profile. The storage compartment is delimited by a regular sequence of thin vertical elements, connected by exposed rattan ties and weaves.
The construction highlights the natural qualities of the materials and the manufacturing techniques, with joints, wrappings, and fastenings becoming an integral part of the design. The slightly slanted legs complete a simple, well-proportioned structure, typical of Scandinavian furnishing accessories of the period.
Good vintage condition. Shows signs of age and use consistent with its age. Please carefully examine the photographs.
