Rectangular coffee table by John Stuart featuring a richly figured veneered top arranged in a concentric geometric pattern. The top combines burl and figured veneers in warm walnut-toned woods, creating a framed, almost architectural composition with a strongly bookmatched central panel.
The rectangular top steps down through subtly molded edges into a rounded outer frame. Four broad legs continue seamlessly from the apron and are shaped with distinctive sculpted, bracket-like cutouts and gently flared feet for a enhanced profile, “continuous gilt-highlighted edge along the apron and legs.”
John Stuart disc label to underside, along with additional markings.
