Charming vintage writing table or petite console featuring a slender dark-stained wood frame, elegant tapered legs and a single full-width drawer. The table has a wonderfully decorative, collected-over-time appearance, with a distressed ochre-gold painted top contrasting against the deeper brown-black base.
The drawer is fitted with two colorful hand-painted-style ceramic knobs and opens to reveal a floral-lined interior, adding an unexpected decorative detail. The front legs terminate in softly sculpted feet, while small casters add another traditional touch.
Its compact proportions make this piece especially versatile as a writing desk, entry console, bedside table, vanity or occasional table. The layered finish and intentionally timeworn character give it strong English Country, Bohemian and eclectic cottage appeal.
