This striking ceramic sculpture depicts a standing peacock, a traditional symbol of beauty, dignity, and good fortune. The figure features a slender, elongated neck and a tall, tapering body with stylized feather details flowing down its form. The piece is finished in a rich, deep purple flambe glaze characteristic of Jun ware, with striking streaks of milky white and lavender-blue flowing through the body and pooling at the base. The surface exhibits a subtle crackle effect, adding depth and texture. This elegant sculpture is a beautiful example of traditional ceramic art and makes a bold statement as a centerpiece or floor accent.
