masterfully executed in a delicate mixed media blend of pastel and gouache. Beautifully
preserved behind glass, this piece captures a dreamy afternoon along a quiet riverbank
reminiscent of the Champagne countryside. A grouping of classical figures rests gently near
the water's edge, nestled beneath a canopy of softly feathered, airy trees.

The color palette features exquisite, muted sage greens, warm earth tones, and a hazy sky
filled with soft light. The execution heavily aligns with the celebrated style of listed
French landscape painter Armand Guéry (1850–1912), who was famous for his atmospheric
pastoral scenes along the Suippe River.

The piece is presented in its charming vintage gold gilt wood frame. The velvet-like matte
texture achieved by the pastel medium gives this artwork a beautiful depth and character,
making it an ideal statement piece for a gallery wall, mantle, or traditional interior.

with vivid pigments under glass. The vintage gilt frame shows light, authentic age-related See less
