This impressive Shoushan stone seal features a finely carved guardian lion seated atop a square base. The lion is depicted with a detailed curly mane, expressive face, and a decorative collar with a bell, resting its paws upon a small ball. The stone exhibits a rich, deep green tone with natural veining and a smooth, polished surface. The sides of the base are adorned with gilt-painted floral scrollwork and columns of gilt calligraphy. A red seal paste impression is visible on the front of the base, and the underside contains carved seal script characters. This piece serves as both a functional stamp and a distinguished decorative object.
