Rendered with expressive, heavily textured impasto, the composition features whitewashed architecture, lush foliage and warm terracotta accents beneath a vivid blue sky.

Simonini’s energetic brushwork and dimensional paint application give the landscape exceptional depth and movement, particularly throughout the trees, architectural details and foreground. The palette of Mediterranean blue, cream, white, golden yellow, green and terracotta makes the work especially versatile for traditional, Mediterranean, English Country and collected interiors.

The painting is presented in a substantial decorative gilt frame with warm antiqued detailing that complements the colors of the landscape beautifully. Signed by the artist at lower right.
