This distinguished pair of brass recumbent lions brings a classic, stately presence to any interior. Each lion is finely cast in a reclining pose with front paws extended, featuring deeply detailed, flowing manes and expressive faces. One lion is depicted with a closed mouth, while the other has an open mouth, adding a dynamic contrast to the pair. They rest upon integral rectangular plinths, making them ideal for use as bookends, mantel ornaments, or library decorations. The brass exhibits a warm, aged patina with a rich, reddish-brown tone, characteristic of antique metalware.
