Serapi rugs comes from east part of Azerbaijan province in Heriz district in Northweast Persia. For over a century Serapi rugs have been well known in design industry and always keep their prices because they never go out of style for those who love the character of Serapi rugs. The one that I am offering here, could be the best example for what a Serapi rug should look like. This is a reproduction of 19th century Serapi, which was made in 1980 with Karaje weave, which in better than the regular weave, much finer. There are many 10th Century SErapi rugs with Karaje weave. Like 19th century Serapi, it is absolutely botanical, and all the wools were dyed exactly like an antique color , this is so close that no one could tell that it is a replica but woven in the same region. Now, if you want to bring a look of a $25,000.00 rug to your home of office, here by spending only $3,499.00, which is an absolute give away & ia way below its retai. The most important thing about this rug is, its size. How many serapi rugs you can find at this size? is not impossible but is a very difficult task & in case if you did, prise could be in 5 digit category. Exact size, 12'-2" x 13'-7". See less
