Rustic yet minimal, this antique Chinese display table finds its place in the modern home as a nightstand, pedestal or side table. Dated to the late 19th century, the small table is crafted of northern elm (yumu) with traditional joinery and finished to a dark brown with tinted lacquer. Originally used to elevate a lantern or incense burner, the table has a square-corner design with straight legs linked by humpback stretchers and a single drawer with original hardware.
