The piece features a cylindrical drum shaped pedestal supporting a dramatic round top measuring 52" wide. The base is constructed from individual pencil reed strands stacked and lacquered to form a solid, sculptural pedestal column. The rattan beautifully displays natural variegation and hand-crafted figuring in light honey and caramel tones. The table top is finished in a crisp white formica style surface, bordered by a thick reed edge measuring over two inches thick. The table is sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The table is crafted in a distinct blend of Tropical Palm Beach, Organic Modern, and California Coastal styles, and is well-suited for use in a variety of spaces as a dining table, entry table, center table, games table, or breakfast table.
