Original signed still life painting by Frances Poole, titled Four Pears and dated 1998. The work features four pears arranged around a shallow bowl, rendered in warm green, gold, orange, and earth tones. Executed in oil and encaustic on canvas, the surface has rich texture, depth, and visual warmth.
The painting is framed and presents beautifully as a refined still life for a dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, library, gallery wall, or collected interior. Its compact scale makes it easy to place, while the layered surface and warm palette give it a strong decorative presence.
The verso retains an auction/gallery label identifying the work as Lot No. 120, Frances Poole, Four Pears, 1998, oil and encaustic on canvas, 12" x 14", courtesy of Ruth Bachofner Gallery in Santa Monica, California. The label lists the value at the time as $1,200.
