The Terra plays a quiet trick. It carries the presence of aged ceramic: the rounded body, the ridges, the sea-green wear of something dug up and loved for decades. But there is no clay in it. The whole base is turned from solid walnut, and every ridge is cut by hand, one pass at a time.
A teal patina is built up in layers, then worn back by hand until it sits like weather rather than paint, with the grain still reading through. Above and below, the walnut is left honest and polished to a deep natural shine.
An off-white linen drum shade gives a soft, glare-free glow, and the supplied LED steps through warm, neutral and cool white, so the pair works as well at a desk by day as on either side of a bed at night.
Sold as a pair. Limited edition of 25, each piece numbered and signed beneath the base, and made entirely by hand in our atelier.
Wired for the US: 120V with a standard US plug. Shades and bulbs included.
Each lamp: 20" H overall with shade. Base 10" H, 6.5" diameter. Shade 8" across, 9" tall.
