The Ascent is a small city in wood: a cluster of stepped towers rising around a single spiral-filament bulb, like a skyline in the minute before it wakes. Lit, the towers glow warm from within and throw tall, quiet shadows up the wall.
The towers are solid beech, finished in a soft bone-white lacquer, set on a base of American ash and walnut. An inline dimmer on a braided fabric cord takes the light from reading-bright down to an ember.
First edition of 30. Each piece is numbered and signed beneath the base, and made entirely by hand in our atelier.
Wired for the US: 120V with a standard US plug. The bulb is sent separately from within the US so it arrives unbroken.
30" H x 8" W x 8" D.
