Constructed during the absolute peak of American factory woodworking, this highly collectible focal piece delivers massive historical character to any modern dining room, foyer, or living space.

Wood & Craftsmanship:

Spectacular Grain: Features premium, highly figured quarter-sawn white oak presenting a dramatic, high-contrast "tiger" ray flake pattern. The book-matched layout across the top surface is visually stunning.

Classic Empire Details:

Showcases an overhanging S-curve ogee scroll drawer front, flanking turned side column pillars, and prominent hand-carved solid wood lion paw feet.

Historic Joinery:

The structural drawer boxes utilize authentic, machine-cut late-Victorian square blind mortise and tenon joints—a beautiful testament to late 19th-century industrial history.

Storage Setup:

Built with two upper shallow organization drawers, one massive full-width ogee curved drawer, and a lower double-door cabinet area opening up to an expansive full-width interior storage shelf.

Dimensions: 54" W × 25" D × 36.75" H

Condition Report:

Overall, this sideboard is in very good antique condition with a tight, structurally rock-solid frame. The rich wood finish glows beautifully, and all drawers slide smoothly on their original tracks.

Please Note:

As with any true pre-loved historical heirloom, there are minor cosmetic signs of age. Specifically, there are a few small chipped pieces of veneer along the edges (clearly highlighted in the final listing photos). These small cosmetic blemishes are superficial, do not impact the structure of the piece, and contribute to its authentic antique character.

Free local pickup is available in the Bolivia, NC 28422 area. This is a very heavy, solid wood item; please bring a suitable vehicle and assistance to load.
